Oxidative Stress Evaluation

By Definition, oxidative stress is a direct consequence of the noxious action that exaggerate amounts of free radicals induce on the cells and on the tissues of the body.

Free radicals are either single of grouped atoms which are able to react with any organic molecule of a cell (including the DNA), thus damaging them. The consequences of such action on the cell are often disastrous (structural impairment→ functional impairment→death).
