Skull with Facial Muscles Model

A detailed, life-size anatomical model that allows the study of the external muscular structure of the skull. The removable skullcap is held in place by magnets and small pegs, allowing for easy removal and safe replacement. The skull has a realistic bone texture allowing clear identification of the bones. The model shows the permanent teeth and also the wisdom tooth. The texture of the palatine bones is also visible. The real highlight of the skull are the life-sized muscular pieces that represent the facial structure just beneath the skin, which include the muscles for facial expression and chewing. Each of the 40 removable muscles are numbered, allowing for more in-depth studies.
