The Brite MKIII is a user-friendly, plug-and-play NIRS device with almost no set-up time. It works with multi-wavelengths

LED’s, giving you continuous and real-time feedback in our data analysis software that is delivered with the system.

The Brite MKIII comes with a multi-power gain control. This feature enables users to measure at 4 different power levels and auto-power settings per channel, enabling optimal data quality across a wide range of ages, skin color, hair

type and cortical optode distances.

With the Brite MKIII we have incorporated flexible interoptode distances. Whether you want to measure shallow or

deep, any distance from 10 mm up to 55 mm is now possible.

The flexible optode template in OxySoft enables users to select specific optode templates (up to 27 channels) applicable to any cortical area and according to their preferred layout. This makes it possible to have a unique configuration for

any custom study.

The Brite MKIII weighs only 300 grams in total! This portability in combination with the soft neoprene headcap makes monitoring brain oxygenation of elderly, children and vulnerable patients comfortable and easy.

Wearable…anywhere & for everyone!

The multi-power gain control of the Brite MKIII can adapt the optical power when needed. This improves the recording of brain activity across a wide range of ages, skin colors, scalp areas, hair types and cortical optode distances.

Highly- flexible

The Brite MKIII offers flexible interoptode distances and a flexible optode template. These features make it possible to have a unique configuration for any study.

Optimized

With the optimized ambient light correction, the Brite MKIII can be used in any environment. This includes the outdoors, offices, labs and hospitals.

Accurate

The Brite MKIII offers improved data accuracy with a reduced system noise. Additionally, the dynamic range has been improved, resulting in an increased system sensitivity.

Expand the measurement area

Combining two Brite MKIII systems can easily be done because OxySoft can connect multiple devices simultaneously. Therefore, the data is perfectly synchronized and combined within one data stream.

Up to 54 channels

Using the Dual Brite on a research participant creates up to 54 channels. This makes it perfect for measuring multiple brain areas at the same time.

Hyperscanning (monitoring multiple subjects at the same time) is also possible. This makes it perfect for human

interaction measurements.

Short separation channels

The Multipower gain control of the Brite allows to easily switch a channel from a standard distance (i.e. 30 mm) to a shorter one (i.e. 10 mm). Interested in having more short separation channels (SSC) without sacrificing many standard channels? Then upgrade to the Short separation channel splitter, which enables you to have 4 additional SSC’s!

EEG & tES Compatibility

You can combine transcranial electrical stimulation (tES: tDCS, tACS, tRNS) & electroencephalography (EEG) with NIRS in one single headcap. Such combination allows clinicians and researchers to measure both cortical electrophysiological (EEG) and hemodynamic activity (fNIRS) before, during and after transcranial electrical stimulation in real-world settings.

3D digitazion & synchronization

Polhemus Patriot and Fastrak devices are well-known in the neuroscience world for precise digitization of sensor positions. In combination with the Brite, you can measure the exact locations of the optodes on your participant’s head within OxySoft. With our OxySoft 3D extension you will benefit from a purely integrated solution, which guides you through the digitization process.

The Brite can be used to measure oxygenation anywhere in the brain. Subjects are even able to perform physical activities, like walking and cycling, not to mention that it weighs only 300 grams in total! This wearability makes monitoring brain oxygenation of elderly, children and vulnerable patients comfortable and easy. The device is connected with a long-ranged Bluetooth antenna to the laptop and incorporated with an integrated 9-axis movement

sensor to measure head movements.

All of our devices are bundled with OxySoft. OxySoft is our dedicated software application used to collect, store, view, and analyze all necessary data. This user-friendly software is developed by Artinis and is highly customizable to individual requirements. OxySoft provides in real-time the calculation of oxy-, deoxy-, total hemoglobin and TSI.
